Is it any wonder that there's a diaper shortage?  Not only have we had a worldwide unexpected baby boom, especially in China, where the one child per family rule was rescinded, but some babies like Boomer Jones, are simply using more than a reasonable share.

“Please cooperate Boomer” implored Mrs. Jones.

“Yeah,” agreed his dad.

Boomer simply quickened his breath, and with his face turning red, failed to cooperate.

“It's your turn Harry,” said Mrs. Jones.

“Yeah,” answered Harry with a frown and began changing Boomer's diaper.

“How could a diaper shortage happen,” asked Mrs Jones.  “Doesn't the free market adjust for peaks and valleys in demand?”

“Yeah,” responded Mr. Jones.

"Doesn't the government have a responsibility to fix this shortage somehow?"

“Yeah,” responded Mr. Jones.

“Harry, sometimes your eloquence is really startling.”

Harry thought he'd better not answer, so instead, he nodded his head in agreement.

Boomer now exhibited his contentment with assorted gurgles and blubbers.  Then his face turned red again.

“Oh goodness,” exclaimed Mrs. Jones. “Now it's my turn again.”

“Yeah,” responded Mr. Jones.
